Senior Devops Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our infrastructure automation and reliability efforts. You will design, build, and maintain the cloud-native platforms that power our core products. This role requires a strong focus on security, scalability, and developer experience. You will work closely with engineering teams to streamline deployment pipelines and ensure high availability across our hybrid cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS and GCP, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI to accelerate release cycles.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible to manage cloud resources consistently.
• Monitor system health and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack, setting up proactive alerting.
• Optimize container images and resource allocation to reduce cloud costs and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce least-privilege access and automate compliance checks.
• Mentor junior engineers on DevOps best practices and code review standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python or Go for scripting and automation tasks.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Expertise in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, and IAM.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
• Solid understanding of Linux system administration and networking.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Helm charts for Kubernetes package management.
• Experience with serverless architectures using AWS Lambda or Azure Functions.
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Certification in AWS Solutions Architect or CKA.
