React Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our remote engineering team. You will build and maintain high-performance web applications that serve millions of users across India. This role focuses on creating robust, scalable front-end architectures using modern JavaScript standards. Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
• Optimize application performance by profiling and reducing bundle sizes.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest and React Testing Library.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Refactor legacy codebases to adopt modern React patterns and hooks.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Monitor application health and resolve production issues promptly.

Required skills

• Proficiency in React.js (v18+) and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript ES6+ features.
• Experience with state management libraries like Redux or Zustand.
• Familiarity with CSS-in-JS or Tailwind CSS for styling.
• Knowledge of Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to debug browser-specific issues and performance bottlenecks.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js or Remix for server-side rendering.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and Apollo Client.
• Exposure to WebAssembly or Web Workers.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1).
