React Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled React Developer to join our engineering team in a hybrid work environment. You will build and maintain high-performance web applications using React and Next.js. This role requires a strong focus on code quality, performance optimization, and seamless integration with backend services. You will collaborate closely with designers and product managers to deliver user-centric features that drive business growth. The ideal candidate has 3 to 5 years of experience in frontend development and a proven track record of shipping robust, scalable applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain responsive, accessible user interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Develop and manage complex state management solutions using Redux.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend services via RESTful APIs.
• Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Jest to ensure code reliability.
• Optimize application performance by profiling and reducing bundle sizes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and implementation strategies.
• Maintain code quality through regular code reviews and adherence to Git workflows.

Required skills

• Proficiency in React and TypeScript for building type-safe applications.
• Experience with Redux for state management in large-scale applications.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and consumption.
• Familiarity with Jest for writing and maintaining test suites.
• Solid knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in frontend development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering and static site generation.
• Knowledge of Tailwind CSS for utility-first styling.
• Familiarity with GraphQL for flexible data querying.
